We create a magazine, books, devotionals and other resources  geared towards girls ages 7-12 though there are many teen girls that engage with our resources too! We also publish books and resources that cover topics like parenting, marriage and grief for adults for parents of girls, though boy parents appreciate them, as well.

We sure do!  However, there is an additional shipping charge to cover our cost to mail it outside the US.

While part of our mission is to engage girls “off screen”, we recognize that some prefer a digital method of delivery – particularly in countries outside the US where shipping costs can be prohibitive.  We hope to offer this option very soon.

Yes.  We start to notify you by email in advance of mailing your last issue.  If you do not renew before we mail the last issue, you will also receive a notification attached to the front of your last issue in the mail.

You can find the date the automatic renewal charge will be applied by clicking “My Account” on www.forgirlslikeyou.com and then clicking on “Subscriptions”.  If you would like to know the specific expire issue you will receive, you can email us at [email protected].

We accept all major credit cards and PayPal payments online.  We also accept checks and money orders if you prefer to place your order by mail.

The first issue in a magazine subscription order can take as much as up to ten weeks to arrive.  Orders for other products or single issues should arrive within three weeks.  Please be aware that supply chain issues can also negatively affect this delivery time.

  • Our subscriptions consist of six issues in a year which arrive every other month.  We have two mailings for each issue:  The first one ships the month prior to release so that every subscriber can receive it by the middle of the release month.  We then do a second mailing the following month to fill any orders that came in after the first mailing. 

For example:

The Jan/Feb issue is mailed for the first time around the 2nd week of December to arrive by mid-January.  We mail it again around the middle of January to arrive by mid-February for any orders that came in after the first mailing.  So if we shipped the magazine on December 10 and your order was placed that same day, you may not receive the magazine until mid-February.  If you believe you are outside of this time frame and should have received your first issue, please do not hesitate to contact us so we can resend the issue if it has been determined to be lost in the mail.

  • Our product orders (product other than subscriptions) are mailed twice every week, usually on Tuesday and Friday mornings via media mail which can take up to three weeks to arrive.  We ship media mail to keep the shipping costs down.  If you have an urgent order, you can call us to arrange to pay for higher shipping in order for it to arrive when you need it.

The only way to ensure that your address change is conducted in the way that you desire for an order that has already been placed and is not automatically renewed is to email us at [email protected].  Be sure to include both the previous and new addresses in your email so we can locate your account.

There is a way to change an address on our website, however, changing it there may only affect the default addresses that show when you place future orders depending on where you change it.  It does not change addresses on orders that have already been placed.  It can change the addresses on orders that have already been placed for the future renewals if you check the box to institute the change for all future renewals and your account is only used for one subscription order.

To change the default addresses on future orders:

While on www.forgirlslikeyou.com, click “login” in the navigation bar near the top of the page.  Log in with your email and password.  Click “shipping and billing addresses”.  Edit the address(es) and click the checkbox if this applies to every future renewal order.  Click “save address”.

To change the address for specific orders with future renewals:

While on www.forgirlslikeyou.com, click “login” in the navigation bar near the top of the page.  Log in with your email and password.  Click “subscriptions”.  Any order listed on this page that shows a payment method under “next payment” is set to automatically renew.  You can click on the order number on the left or “view” on the right to change the individual addresses for that order.  Click “change address”.  Click “save address”.

All subscription orders default to renew automatically, however we do recognize that this option isn’t desired by everyone and there will come a time when you want to let your subscription expire at the end of the year.  To cancel future automatic charges:

While on www.forgirlslikeyou.com, click “login” in the navigation bar near the top of the page.  Log in with your email and password.  Click “subscriptions”.  Any order listed on this page that shows a payment method under “next payment” is set to automatically renew.  You can click on the order number on the left or “view” on the right to see order details.  Click “cancel”.  A “pending cancellation” status means that it will automatically cancel at the end of your subscription but you retain the option to renew/reinstate it.  If you “cancel now”, you will need to place a new order to renew your subscription.

While on www.forgirlslikeyou.com, click “login” in the navigation bar near the top of the page.  Log in with your email and password.  Click “payment methods”.  From here you can either “delete” or “make default” for future orders.  If you want to change the payment method for an automatic renewal, while on www.forgirlslikeyou.com, click “login” in the navigation bar near the top of the page.  Log in with your email and password.  Click “subscriptions”.  Any order listed on this page that shows a payment method under “next payment” is set to automatically renew.  You can click on the order number on the left or “view” on the right to see order details.  Click “change payment”.  Enter the new credit card information (check the box if it applies to all automatic payments on the account) and click “change payment method”.
