Let’s see some ID! Identity, that is! The new issue of FOR GIRLS LIKE YOU is all about finding our identity in Him and knowing our worth as God’s Girls. At a time when all of us, but especially our girls, are bombarded with twisted messages of how we should look, what we should think, what makes us valuable, and how we should act, it’s important to realize that nothing the world tells us to do or to be can hold a candle to who God says we are and what our worth is to Him.

Our cover girls, Dani and Dannah, have been a part of both worlds as actresses and social media personalities with thousands of fans and followers. But while they may have found success on screen, they know their true identity lies in who they follow—Jesus—and are learning to be more like Him each day while they shine their light for others to see and want to follow Him too!

Our readers had fun learning about “elevator pitches” and took up the challenge to tell us their own “identity” is 50 words of less! (There’s space for you to try to write your own so you can learn something more about yourself and how you identity yourself to others!)

Then, we head back to the big screen with a feature by Kate Larson. When Kate was just 15 years old, she wrote a book and together with her movie-producing dad created a film around her story about a young girl searching for her identity. Into the Spotlight stars Kate in the lead, plus our own Alena Pitts in a supporting role as one of her friends … and watch for Olivia’s sweet cameo as well. Kate shares some behind the scenes fun along with telling us the lessons God taught her through her story and movie-making journey!

And, as always, you’ll also be inspired by the creative works of our readers, hilarious LOLs, a STEM activity all about fingerprinting, and a craft that will show you how to make your own masterpiece canvas!

We hope this issue inspires you and your girl to celebrate who she is and the God who created every little wonderful thing about her!
