A Personal Devotion by Joelle
Joshua 1:9
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Dear Mom,
During these hard times I wanted to write you this note. I love you to the moon and back and with all my heart. Know that you are the best mom in the world and God loves you and he loves what you have become. Let me tell you what you have become; you are wonderful, kind, honest, generous, smart and amazing! No matter how sad you feel know that God is always right beside you and also when you feel sad just think what you do have and remind yourself to always be grateful. Jesus was always grateful for what he had, I want to be more like Jesus when it comes to everything! Mom, you are my best friend, and I am your little side kick for everything. Know that whenever you’re feeling sad I will always be right by your side and so will God and Jesus.

Dear God,
I want to thank you for giving me my mom. Please help her when she is feeling worried or sad and remind her that you are always right beside her. Help us be more like you with your kindness, love and grace. Continue to look over my family and thank you for loving us.
