I AM LOVING – Week 8

Proverbs 17:7 is a beautiful reminder of what unconditional love is: “A friend loves at all times.” A friend doesn’t love some of the time, but all the time.

Do you have a friend who has been by your side through good days and hard days? Do you have a friend who hasn’t been there for you? God tells us that a true friend will love us all the time.

The rest of the Scripture says that a brother is born for a time of adversity, or difficulty. A brother or sister is someone who you can rely on. This verse is saying that you and a friend can become like a sister to each other by being there for one another during difficult times.

God knew we needed friends here on earth to walk through life together. Friends who love at all times are gifts from the Lord.
