I AM FULL OF DREAMS – Week 6

On the way to fulfilling our dreams and goals we’ll have difficult days and face people who try to discourage us. In Genesis 37-50, we learn about Joseph. After Joseph shared his dreams of being a leader, he faced opposition from his own brothers because they were jealous.

Joseph trusted in the Lord and the dreams the Lord gave him, even after his brothers threw him into a pit and sold him into slavery! Joseph ended up in Potiphar’s house in Egypt, who was an officer of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt.

While there, Joseph was accused of something he didn’t do and was imprisoned. He couldn’t catch a break! Or so it seemed. In prison, people learned that God gave Joseph the gift of interpreting dreams. Two years later after learning of Joseph’s gifts, the King ended up elevating Joseph to second-in-command over all of Egypt! How about that!

Through the hard days and good days, Joseph trusted in the Lord, and the Lord fulfilled His purpose like He always does.
