A prayer for our daughter’s friendships, by Andrea Booth
He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm. Proverbs 13:20
Lord, I ask that you would give my daughter discernment to pursue the right kind of relationships. Bring people into her life who are spiritually strong and who will have a positive influence on her, that causes her to pursue you.
Guide my daughter to be sensitive to the needs of the people in her life, serving them with gladness and encouraging them in their spiritual walk.
Teach her to recognize the value of close, Godly friends. Show her the impact that true sacrificial love for one another will have on her life and on those around her. Help her to develop strong healthy friendships that will last a lifetime. And most of all I pray that you would be the center of all her relationships.
She is yours and I trust you with her.
