A Life of Praise – Week 19

What would it look like for you to praise God no matter your circumstance?

Now you might be wondering about praise like worshipping… Well yes that is a type of praise we can give to the Lord, but praise to God can come in all shapes and forms. It can look like thanking Him for what He has done and does, using our words to give Him glory, having unconditional joy, praising Him with our actions, loving Him, and reading His word. 

Did you know praise is a choice you get to make. 

Psalms 146:1-2 says “Let all that I am praise the Lord. I will praise the Lord as long as I live. I will sing praises to my God with my dying breath.”

David wrote these words and he was declaring praise over his life. He is wanting to praise God till his “dying breath.” Do you want that kind of life? I know I do! Even though life is confusing and things don’t always go our way…God is still good and He deserves ALL the praise. 

So this week what does it look like to live a life of praise? I encourage you to reflect on the way you are using your life to praise God.
