I AM LOVING – Week 6

1 John 4:7-8 is a challenging Scripture! If we know God and love God, we show fruit by the way we live and love others. It doesn’t mean we’ll be perfect, but it does mean that we will show fruit as we try to love the Lord and others.

The reason we can love is because it comes from God. He helps us. We can’t do it without Him.

Have you seen the clear containers that hold cereal in hotel breakfast areas? When you turn the nozzle, the cereal falls into your bowl and keeps coming. In the same way, when we spend time with the Lord and in His Word (like turning the cereal nozzle), His love pours into our hearts. As we seek Him, He will fill us up.

God’s love is never ending. He continually fi lls our hearts with love as we look to Him because He is the Love Giver and Supplier.
