Feet. I stay away from them.
I will admit it can seem a bit strange. But every since I can remember I have had an aversion to bare feet. My husband has learned to cope and I have gotten quite comfortable with my weird avoidance.
So would you believe me if I told you I am going to Uganda to love on hurting hearts …..by washing their feet?
Breaking comfort. That’s so God, isn’t it? He pulls the very things that we have tucked away and accepted as a meaningless reality to make Himself known as the priority of our lives.
Are we truly broken for Him?
In just a few days, I will completely step out of my comfort zone, board a plane and head to Uganda with an amazing group of storytellers, all committed to be the hands and feet of Christ.
Serving with Sole Hope.
A mom- Asher (Sole Hope founder).
A need- children and entire communities suffering and dying because they don’t have shoes.
A solution- old jeans, willing hands and hearts that break for the Kingdom.
It’s that simple.

I am being broken.
And a bonus? I am challenging you and your girls to take this journey with me. 
As a part of the For Girls Like You Devotional celebration, we partied with a purpose. Girls came with their jeans and cut patterns for shoes for Sole Hope. Those patterns, these hearts to serve, are coming with me and going directly onto the feet of hurting children.
